On July 12, 2007, Lightfoot's limited partnership, Arc Terminals LP, acquired terminal assets of Center Oil Company, a private energy company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Arc Terminals is an independent terminal company with a shell capacity of 3.6 million barrels from ten terminal assets located in Alabama, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Virgina, and Wisconsin. Arc Terminals provides storage and delivery services for gasoline, diesel and bio-diesel fuel, aviation gas, ethanol, as well as other petroleum products. Realized Investment:
On June 12, 2007, Lightfoot's limited partnership, International Resource Partners LP ("IRP"), acquired International Resources, LLC, the Central Appalachian coal subsidiary of International Industries, Inc. IRP produces approximately two million tons of metallurgical and steam coal from surface and underground mines in West Virginia and Kentucky and sells coal to domestic and international customers. In addition, IRP owns and operates Hampden Coal, a coal washing and preparation plant, three rail load-out facilities, and Logan and Kanawha, a leading international coal sales and marketing company. IRP was sold to James River Coal Company in April 2011.
