Lightfoot Capital Partners, LP was formed in 2006 to invest directly and indirectly in master limited partnership qualifying businesses, assets and securities and is led by a team of former MLP investment banking professionals. Lightfoot Capital's founders and initial investors include its senior management team, Atlas America, Inc., Magnetar Capital, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs.
Lightfoot Capital's strategy is to form and incubate new MLP's by partnering with premier management teams. Lightfoot Capital intends to invest in sectors that have been underutilized by the MLP structure including coal, terminals, transportation, infrastructure, aggregates and other asset categories.
